In 1938, Frank Benford published in Proceedings of the American Philosophical Society journal his article "The Law of Anomalous Numbers". He described the phenomenon of occurrence frequency of digits on significant positions in large datasets. This phenomenon is called First Digit Law (Benford's Law - after finder).

On 19 November 2011, in Chrzanów will hold an international conference "Education, science and the economy in search of good solutions." The organizers of the conference are the Academy of Marketing at Chrzanów and Training Center and the Organization of Quality Systems the Cracow University of Technology. Tadeusz Kosciuszko in Krakow.

We are pleased to present the first version (beta) of Benford Web Analyzer.

This tool is available from the top menu. Currently the it allows to perform following tests: F1, D2, D3, F2, F3 (first, first two, first three, second and third digits).

In order to perform the analysis correctly, data should be prepared in a csv file and uploaded into server. A sample file is available here.

The functionality will be developed gradually.
